Whos Got the View?

Our dear agency, Classic Cottages, just ran a Top 10 Cottages with a open fire/log burner blog entry... and we did'nt make the cut! Shame really, because of the top 10 I couldn't see any that had a log burner, comfy armchair next to it and a view in front of winter storm surf exploding on a granite reef just 300m away.

Winter Weekends and Short Breaks

This late autumn has already been a stunner for storms, yesterday at Sennen was one of the most amazing seas I have seen breaking across the Cowloe reef outside the house, and from the comfort of the armchair sat by the woodburner its utterly memorizing. Its even hard to drag yourself away to make a cuppa!

We've already had quite a few people take advantage of our owner winter short breaks, they are getting quite popular especially as we can get the house ready at quite short notice should there be a great forecast you want to take advantage of.

We can be really flexible over days, whether its a weekend or mid week, or a cross over, but the basic prices are...

Where did summer go, I'm sure it was only last week I was posting our June deals?

So now the dust of the high season has settled its a great time to take advantage of empty Cornwall, and if you have only ever seen down here in high season you really do not know what you are missing.

Its lovely down here at the moment, its still really warm and the sea is actually just off the warmest time of the year. That combined with the best time of the year for surf, and storms, so If you want to grab a late October deal we can offer...

Short Breaks...

We'll run this deal all winter, and we can have the house available at very short notice if you want to drop everything and run down.

The min stay is two nights, any two nights between friday - friday, and its just £100 per night.

Or...

We can do a barebones deal, you bring your bedding/towels etc, your own bag of logs, and promise faithfully to give to give the house a sweep around when you leave so its left tidy, and its only £75 a night.... Thats cheaper than B&B, and you get a whole beach house to yourself.

Flaming June Late Deal

Wow, unbelievably we still have a week in June available. June being the best summer month to grab a break in Sennen as the weather is generally great (usually the best month of the summer) and the crowds have yet to descend as the schools are still in term.

Have to say its lovely down here right now, the weather is warm but not the silly heat that the UK seems to be having (I had to go up North last week, i nearly melted. Most unpleasant, very glad to get back to Atlantic freshness), surf has been small and clean, you can set up on the beach with acres of sand to yourself and out to see the dolphins have been frequent visitors to the bay and the first basking sharks are being sighted.

So, can I tempt you? Friday 8th - Friday 15th June, normal price £654 plus agency booking fees but if you come direct we can let you have it for a bargain £595.
